Do we always know what to pray for?

"Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought."

Through what was the original creation wrought?
How freely was the Holy Spirit bestowed upon Him?
Because some thought He had come to destroy the law, what did Christ say?
