How does the Spirit witness to our acceptance with God?

"Because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father."
Gal. 4 : 6. "The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God." Rom. 8: 16.
 


Through whom are we reconciled to God?
