Of what is Christian baptism an evidence?

Answer

"As many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ." Gal. 3: 27.
NOTE - In baptism, the water and the Spirit both bear witness to God's acceptance. He who at Christ's
baptism said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased," witnesses to the acceptance of every
sincere believer at his baptism.
